Public offering content
AMED plans to make a public call for "Moonshot R&D program / Realizing sustainable medical and nursing care systems to prevent and overcome major diseases by 2040 for everyone to enjoy life until 100 years old" from the beginning of September.

Headquarters for Healthcare Policy determined to promote challenging R&D program called Moonshot (hereinafter referred to as "MS"), based on ideas that are not just extensions of conventional technology to create disruptive innovation in Japan.
Based on the MS R&D program, AMED has established the fund as the research promotion agency that conducts the operations related to the R&D, and promotes challenging R&D toward the realization of the R&D concept in order to achieve the MS goal determined by Headquarters for Healthcare Policy.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, AMED will not be holding a grant call information session prior to the grant call. At the start of September details pertaining to the grant call will be made available on AMED’s website. How to Apply
In order to apply for this grant, the principal investigator and other members of the research team must be registered on e-Rad with their organizations’ names.
Please allow at least two weeks for the registration process, as it may take some time to complete.
