Topics Prof. YONEDA Yoshihiro Appointed President of the International Human Frontier Science Program Organization (HFSPO)

Prof. YONEDA Yoshihiro (Professor Emeritus at Osaka University and President of the Research Foundation for Microbial Diseases of Osaka University (BIKEN Foundation)) has been appointed as President of the International Human Frontier Science Program Organization (HFSPO). He will serve as the 7th President in HFSPO’s 35-year history, succeeding Prof. NAGATA Shigekazu, who served as President from 2018 to 2024.
AMED President MISHIMA Yoshinao is also appointed by Japan as a member of the Board of Trustees of the HFSPO.
