Programs Department of Innovation and Clinical Research Center

The Department of Innovation and Clinical Research Center builds a research system beyond the boundaries of academic organizations and fields, to conduct basic research on the creation and cultivation of innovative seeds aiming to create novel modalities), and international joint research. The department improves the systems and mechanisms for seeds discovery/transfer and high-quality clinical research/trials at the Translational and Clinical Research Core Centers. Simultaneously, it promotes reverse translational research (rTR) and the construction of the foundation for empirical research.

The Division of Translational and Clinical Research Center supports the clinical application of research results at the core centers for translational research support and clinical research core centers, aiming to promote the implementation of seeds discoveries/transfers and high-quality clinical research/trials. This division also promotes the fostering of various human resources and environmental improvements in academia-government collaboration, as well as the enhancement of the system of the foundation for public-private empirical research.

The Division of Innovative Research and Development promotes cutting-edge R&D to create, foster, and develop the seeds of future innovation.
Utilizing temporary research systems beyond organizational boundaries (virtual network research institutes system), we aim to provide innovative drugs, medical devices, and so on.
This division also advances R&D for the purpose of developing and furthering world-leading, promising research results.
