Since 2015, the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development(AMED) has been implementing collaboration with the Early Detection Research Network (EDRN) led by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to promote early diagnosis technology of cancer and international research exchanges. AMED and NCI-EDRN conduct annual research workshop.
This year, the “7th US-Japan Workshop on Biomarkers for Cancer Early Detection-Collaboration Across International Boundaries: It Takes a Village-” will be held at Ito International Research Center from January 26 to 27, 2020. In order to promote collaboration with NCI-EDRN in the United States, we are planning to announce actual joint research cases and to announce the development of the latest early diagnosis technology.
