Tohoku University Tohoku Medical Megabank Organization and Toyota Central R&D Labs., Inc. are planning to recruit add-on cohorts for their collaborative study investigating the association between the outcomes of olfactory tests and genetic polymorphism (individual differences in the genomic DNA sequence), as well as the effect of olfaction on brain imaging and cognitive function (August 2019 - March 2020).
An estimated 2,000 participants that are already enrolled in the “Health surveillance of the brain and psychological state” program led by AMED and consent to participate in the current study will be recruited.
