- On the basis of the COVID-19 outbreak, the schedule for interviews has changed.

- Please note that because the AMED Advanced Research & Development Programs for Medical Innovation programs are funded by grants, R&D starting in October 1, 2020 will be given priority and the deadline for solicitations will not be extended. Although there is a slight disparity in the deadlines, with regard to the restrictions on overlapping with the JST Strategic Basic Research Programs will be conducted in line with the notification already provided.
- With regard to consent of affiliated institution under e-Rad, in the event that it is difficult for the institution to respond, please ensure that before the deadline the person in charge of administration, not the applicants, contact AMED at the e-mail address for enquiries provided below. AMED will consider how to respond only in the event that such a communication is received.
- It is possible that the schedule for interview-based selection will be altered. In the event that any alterations arise they will be detailed on the AMED website, so please ensure that you check the website.

Having considered the safety of attendees in the light of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, it has been decided that the Public invitation briefing scheduled for April 14 will be cancelled.
The briefing material and videos provided by AMED and PSs/POs will be made available on this website at a later date (these will not be streamed live).
