Major Initiatives for the Promotion of Responsible Conduct of Research in AMED

In order to ensure Responsible Conduct of Research funded by AMED, the following efforts are being made

1. Promoting the establishment of rules and systems related to research integrity at research institutions
2. Requirement for research institutions funded by AMED to manage and report on researchers’ completion of RCR education
3. Requirement for research institutions funded by AMED to manage researchers' conflicts of interest and report on their conflict of interest management status
4. Setting up consultation service counters to prevent misconduct and to handle requests for consultation

In order to promote Responsible Conduct of Research, the following efforts are being made

1.  Development and dissemination of teaching materials on research integrity and research ethics
2.  Disseminating information on research integrity and research ethics and strengthening cooperation among related organizations (RIO Network)
3.  Organizing symposiums, seminars, and etc. focused on promoting research integrity and research ethics
4.  Project supporting aimed at promoting research integrity and research ethics
