Today, the Cabinet Secretariat announced the recipients of the 1st Japan Medical Research and Development Awards.The recipients of the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED) President’s Award are given below.

Commemorative Lecture Meeting to be Held for the 1st Japan Medical Research and Development Awards

The “Commemorative Lecture Meeting for the 1st Japan Medical Research & Development Awards” will be held at the Tokyo International Exchange Center on Saturday November 25, 2017. (Cosponsored by Cabinet Secretariat, Office of Healthcare Policy and Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development). At the meeting, to commemorate the 1st Japan Medical Research and Development Awards a lecture will be given by Keiji Tanaka, Chairperson of Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Medical Science, who received the Headquarters for Health and Medical Strategy Promotion Director General (Prime Minister)’s award, and there will be special lectures by Shinya Yamanaka, Director of Center for iPS Cell Research and Application, Kyoto University and Makoto Suematsu, President of AMED.
