Overview
With the advancement of aging and increased medical demands in the emerging countries, the global medical device market is expected to expand in the future. Thus, this program promotes development of Japan-originated innovative medical devices and systems using robot technology and ICT in which Japan possesses strength. It also formulates the guidelines for such medical devices and other materials.
