Completed Next Generation Drug Discovery Compound Library Project

This project aims at the practical application of AMED’s compound library for drug discovery by utilizing the compounds expected to inhibit a protein-protein interaction (PPI) to perform screening of the academia seeds that the iD3 Booster supports. This library contains a group of compounds with the molecular mass of about 500. The group includes novel scaffolds that mimic entire tertiary structures such as secondary structural elements including alpha helix and beta sheets or motif sequences that are present on the surface of the PPI required for signal transduction cascade of drug discovery.

iD3 revitalizes the entire collection of projects using this library and promotes drug discovery activities using compounds directed to the inhibition of the PPI.
