Overview
This project promotes basic research with a view to the practical implementation of genomic medicine, such as screening for causative genes by means of disease genome analysis and their functional evaluation, as well as validation studies with a view to their clinical application, and is also encouraging the research necessary to resolve the ethical, legal, and social issues posed by the provision of genomic therapy and to establish a training system for medical professionals.
