先端国際共同研究推進プログラム（ASPIRE）の最新情報はこちら

先端国際共同研究推進プログラム（ASPIRE：Adopting Sustainable Partnerships for Innovative Research Ecosystem）は、我が国の科学技術力の維持・向上を図るため、政策上重要な科学技術分野において、国際共同研究を通じて我が国と科学技術先進国・地域のトップ研究者同士を結び付け、我が国の研究コミュニティにおいて国際頭脳循環を加速することを目指します。

本プログラムにより、我が国と科学技術先進国・地域との間で、最先端の研究開発につながるネットワークを構築しつつ、次世代のトップ研究者を育成し、その流れを能動的に作り出すための仕組みを構築します。

ASPIRE（アスパイア）とは

世界のトップ科学者層とのネットワーク構築
未来を決める国際的なトップ研究コミュニティへの参画
将来持続的に世界で活躍できる人材の育成

これらを目的とする支援事業です。

先端国際共同研究推進プログラムの運営・体制

AMEDは、本事業の実施にあたり、文部科学省から対象とする国・地域、分野・研究領域の指定を受けます。
またAMEDは、研究分野に関して優れた学識経験や研究開発の実績等を有し、研究開発課題の評価及び業務運営に関して見識を有する専門家をプログラムスーパーバイザー（PS）、プログラムオフィサー（PO）として配置しています。
PS、POは協力して、連携分野全体の課題を把握し、担当する連携分野の運営や分野間の協力の推進等の高度な専門的調整を行うとともに、優れた研究開発提案の評価・発掘や基礎研究の成果を臨床研究・実用化につなげる一貫した運営を行います。

アライメント公募と共同公募の違い

AMEDが単独で、日本側研究者による相手国側研究者との国際共同研究課題を公募する形態です。

応募された課題提案を審査し、採択した課題において、AMEDが日本側研究者を支援します。

課題提案の条件として、国際共同研究を実施する相手国側研究者は、相手国側資金配分機関から何らかの支援を受けている、または今後支援される必要があります。

なお、アライメント公募で採択された課題において、相手国側資金配分機関から相手国側研究者への、追加的な支援が約束されているものではありません。

相手国側資金配分機関と共同で国際共同研究課題を公募する形態です。

公募テーマは、本事業の対象となる分野・研究領域から相手国側資金配分機関と調整して設定します。

日本側研究者と相手国側研究者の国際共同研究の提案を募集し、相手国側資金配分機関と提案を共同で審査し、課題を採択します。

採択した課題において、AMEDは日本側研究者、相手国側資金配分機関は相手国側研究者をそれぞれ支援します。
